REST IN PEACE
This past June, Mike and Nan drove back to Coure d' Alene, Idaho to attend the funeral of Nan's Great Uncle, Ed Holt. Many folks came to pay their respects to this Great American Hero. Military Men and Women from all over the state participated in the service. Some stood outside the building with flags in hand for hours, others carried him to his final resting place.
While visiting last summer, Uncle Ed shared stories of his time as a prisoner of war.
He left quite an impression on Joshua. A piece of our history is gone, but we will never forget.
